After photographing their super cool and urban engagement session in Ybor – I was excited for what was sure to be an over-the-top and stunning Saint Petersburg wedding at the Saint Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts.
Getting ready at the Birchwood Hotel was the perfect choice. The bride’s wedding colors coordinated perfectly with their beautiful hotel rooms. It made for stunning photos of the bouquet, bridesmaid dresses and ring.
Passing on the first look, this lovely couple decided instead to have a traditional wedding ceremony – where they would see each other for the first time on their wedding day.
These two lovebirds were married in the beautiful courtyard of the Saint Petersburg Fine Art museum, with its elegant Spanish architecture and natural surroundings. The ceremony was beautiful and touching, with a empty chair in honor of the bride’s late father. The weather was perfect – sunny, not too hot. With the breeze and violin music playing, it was an elegant affair.
After the ceremony – it was time for portraits around the grounds of the Saint Petersburg Fine Art Museum. Then, onto the reception – which was a grand celebration featuring late night snacks and a chocolate fountain!
I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know this inspiring couple and celebrate with them on their wedding day! Full of energy and a great passion for one-another – these two are truly soul mates. Congratulations!
